The Gîtes

Our four luxury gîtes have been created within the structure of the original beamed farmhouse and the nearby stable block and have been finished and furnished to the highest specification. They are:

L'Ecurie, accommodating up to 10 persons

L'Hirondelle, accommodating up to 8 persons

Le Chardonneret, accommodating up to 4 persons

La Chouette for up to 3 persons

All are equipped with all the appliances, utensils, crockery, cutlery and other facilities necessary for a comfortable holiday.

The 10m x 6m outdoor swimming pool provides a means to cool off on those dreamy hot summer days, and adds a further attraction to the beautiful surroundings of Le Chaiseau!

……. We've had a lovely relaxing week, lots of fishing, nature and exploring here and in various local villages. Rose (7) and Felix (5) especially have loved the fishing with dad. Grateful thanks to Lynn and Roger who have made us very welcome and who are excellent hosts. Rosie and Felix say they like coming here better than Florida (Disneyland)!! All of us are looking forward to returning

…….. We had taken a chance by booking a fortnight purely on the basis of what we saw on the web site. We needn't have worried, we were absolutely delighted when we arrived and saw the gites and their surroundings. The Gites have been beautifully renovated and are very homely. We love the colour schemes and the cool floors, especially since we arrived in a heatwave. We saw 46 degrees on the courtyard thermometer on the hottest day. The lake, and the paths around it, are marvellous for just getting away from it all. It was nice to have the time, the opportunity, and the enthusiastic guide in the form of Roger, to appreciate the wildlife. Didn't manage to catch any boar. But saw plenty of signs that they were around. We did manage to see several birds of prey, fish and even a couple of deer. Thanks for such a lovely time. You were perfect hosts and we are recommending Le Chaiseau to anyone who cares to listen. We will certainly be back
