TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. In High and Mid Season, check in time is 5pm onwards on the Saturday that you arrive and you must check out by 10 am on the Saturday that you depart. During the Winter Season we can be flexible as to times, commencement day and length of stay.
2. Please be a considerate guest and take good care of the accommodation, its appliances
and fittings. We ask you that you leave the Gîte as you find it. (Otherwise, the
following charges will be deducted from the deposit to cover the additional cleaning
required: l’Ecurie -
3. Please do not act in any way that could disturb or cause problems for those resident in the neighbouring Gîtes, for example, playing loud music in the garden.
4. Let us know as soon as possible of any breakdowns, breakages or damage that may occur and we will arrange rectification or replacement.
5. You are strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy providing full cover for your party’s personal belongings, public liability etc since these are not covered by our insurance policy.
6. A security deposit of £200 (l’Ecurie and l’Hirondelle) or £100 (Le Chardonneret
and La Chouette) per rental period is required with your final payment. We will
return this to you by bank-
7. Fishing on the Lake is available to residents only. There is a restriction of six rods per Gîte for l’Ecurie and l’Hirondelle and four rods per Gîte for Le Chardonneret and La Chouette, except by prior arrangement. You are requested to comply with our fishery rules as they are for the well being of both anglers and fish.
8. Although the lake and swimming pool are great assets, it should be appreciated that children under 12 may not be left unsupervised on the estate at any time because of these and other obvious dangers. The platforms around the lake are for fishing only.
9. French law states that the swimming pool gate must have a childproof lock, and we request that you nominate a member of your party who will undertake to ensure that the gate is locked after you have used the pool.
10. Electricity is included in all High Season rentals. Each Gite has its own electricity meter and in Mid and Low Seasons there is a weekly electricity allowance of 60 kilowatts (La Chouette and Le Chardonneret ) and 80 kilowatts (l’Ecurie and l’Hirondelle). Any electricity consumption in excess of these allowances will be settled before your departure at standard EDF rates.
11. Smoking is not permitted in any of the gîtes.
12. We regret that we cannot accept pets.
13. PLEASE close all windows (including roof Veluxes) when going out for the day. Windows can be broken by the wind and/or the rain may get in. Even in the summer, storms here can often appear from nowhere. Also you will find that in hot weather, your accommodation will stay much cooler.
